If you’ve never considered outsourcing your order fulfillment services, we can guarantee that we’ll keep you covered at every step of the process, freeing you up to pursue your own continued triumphs.
Why Outsource Your Fulfillment Services?
Outsourcing to an order fulfillment company can save you time and money in a variety of ways, but the most common way is by removing the hassle of storing and packaging orders.
While it’s possible for in-house fulfillment services to be managed by a single employee, it is often necessary to hire multiple workers to handle the influx of orders. This can be costly, both in time and money, especially if your number of orders is relatively small.
In addition, it can be time-consuming to manage inventory in-house. From start to finish, inventory storage involves:
- Restocking your product line
- Safely storing commodities
- Repackaging your products whenever a consumer places an order
At every step, you’ll run into inefficiencies if your business is not 100% focused on order fulfillment.
Additionally, in-house fulfillment can often be quite expensive, especially if you need to hire multiple employees to handle the task. These costs are then compounded with the added expenses of maintaining an expensive storage facility.
For these reasons, it’s often better to pass your order fulfillment process to a third-party e-commerce fulfillment company. By outsourcing your logistics, you can focus on running your business, cut the costs of storing an inventory, and leave your logistics to the experts.
Outsourced Fulfillment Makes the Order Fulfillment Process Faster
Generally speaking, outsourced fulfillment services process orders much faster than in-house teams. This can be attributed to several reasons:
A third-party logistics company maintains a professional staff trained with the experience needed to quickly and efficiently handle a high volume of orders. On the other hand, in-house fulfillment teams typically lack the focus and experience needed to keep up.
Outsourced fulfillment providers possess the necessary specialized equipment needed to fulfill orders as quickly and as accurately as possible. Your in-house team is likely still using tape rollers and Excel files.
Third-party fulfillment companies also have access to a variety of shipping options. This means that they can often find a faster and more affordable shipping method than what is available to businesses that fulfill orders in-house.
Outsourcing to a third-party fulfillment company can also save you time by eliminating the need to package orders yourself. When you outsource your fulfillment, the company will package the orders for you, saving a significant amount of time, especially if you have a large number of orders to fulfill.
As they say, time is money. By wasting time on inefficient in-house fulfillments, you’re not only costing your business more money, but you’re also losing out on the profits that could be earned by honing your brand and expanding into new markets.
Outsource E-Commerce Fulfillment to Build a Happier Consumer Base
In the digital age, your brand’s image can make or break your business. Customers are quick to leave a bad review, especially if they’re dissatisfied with your customer service. Therefore, it’s incredibly important that you provide accurate, consistent, and transparent information with every purchase.
In short, don’t promise your customers guaranteed 2-day shipping if it actually takes 5 days for their package to arrive.
When buyers trust what you’re telling them, they are more likely to engage with your brand, browse through your products, and make the final decision to click Buy. Amazon alone has made an entire business off of free 2-day shipping, so pay attention to their success and emulate it.
If you can’t make such a short turnaround, it’s time to outsource.
When ecommerce companies outsource their logistics to dedicated fulfillment service providers, they can rest assured that, when they say “2-day” shipping, their packages really will arrive at their customers’ doors within that timeframe.
Sure, there may be some deviations due to weekends or holidays, but that’s no different than FedEx fulfillment or any other major shipping company.
Over time, your consumers will grow more confident in your ability to deliver the goods that they so desperately want and will come to rely on your honesty and transparency. One-time buyers will transform into regulars and your brand will flourish under the uptick in interactions.
Combine these results with a fresh new outlook dedicated to building your brand instead of stressing over logistics and your company is destined to expand.

Fulfyld’s Full Range of Fulfillment Services
Fulfyld is more than just a guiding light that’s standing by to ease your logistical problems and smooth other customer complaints. It’s the meat of our industry—i.e., our everyday services—that have helped us better serve ecommerce stores around the nation.
As a leading ecommerce fulfillment company, we offer solutions to all of your needs, from end to end. Check out our services below and let us know if you have any questions.
Multi-Channel E-Commerce Fulfillment
As an ecommerce business, we know that you sell your products through a variety of sales channels—from a dedicated online store to Amazon, eBay, and others. It only makes sense.
After all, the more channels you can sell through, the wider you can spread your market reach. But don’t let your multi-channel spread hold your business back.
Fulfyld understands the complications that come with managing more than one platform at the same time—keeping your orders in order, tracking performance across platforms, etc.
Fortunately, Fulfyld is already integrated and prepared to work with many of these services, helping to keep you focused while we handle your e-commerce fulfillment needs.
To date, Fulfyld has integrated with some of the largest online retailers in the world. Our current ecommerce platform integrations include:
- Walmart Marketplace
- The Shopify Fulfillment Network
Of course, this list is by no means comprehensive. So far, we have integrated with more than 120 different online retailers around the world, making it that much easier for you to sell your goods wherever you want and get them to your customers as soon as possible.
When you make Fulfyd your dedicated ecommerce fulfillment partner, we’ll manage your inventory at a local fulfillment center and, whenever someone places an order, we will pick, package, sort, and ship the product with your branded logo front and center.
Never again will you have to worry about tracking multiple channels in complicated Excel sheets or struggling with packing and shipping.
Business-to-Business Distribution (B2B)
If you thought selling across multiple channels was complicated, you’ve got another thing coming.
Whenever you initiate a transaction with another business, there will likely be a perceived risk on the buyer’s side. Therefore, to overcome these challenges, B2B sales teams must work hard to build trust and establish their position as experts in the field.
This mistrust often comes down to the sheer length of the sales cycle. Since representatives must make decisions on behalf of their entire company—not individually—the process can take much longer than if the individual was making their own purchase.
Therefore, it’s essential that the logistics of B2B transactions have a touch of patience baked into them from the very start.
Our B2B fulfillment services are designed to streamline these operations by utilizing proprietary fulfillment software that suits all budget restraints, product specifications, and variable business sizes.
We’re able to tailor our service to your orders y providing real-time inventory updates, processing and tracking updates, and around-the-clock customer support for both ends.
If you’ve never considered outsourcing your fulfillment process, we understand that you may have concerns about your inventory. It’s like they say—out of sight, out of mind.
While this may initially sound like a weight off of your shoulders, it’s understandable that you might worry that some of your inventory could go missing if it’s not immediately at hand.
Fulfyld takes absolute care to track, sort, and update all of your inventory data from day to day. Your very own dedicated account manager will keep a close eye on your supply and our system will automatically update your inventory whenever someone makes a purchase. If there’s ever a return, we will then relist the items as ‘in stock’ and update our systems again.
Warehousing and Distribution
With concerns about your inventory, you’re likely to also worry about warehousing and distribution. We’re here to tell you that those concerns are legitimate but nothing to stress over.
With a network of fulfillment centers located throughout the United States, we have plenty of warehouse space to accommodate each of your ecommerce businesses’ inventories. Even if you experience a period of rapid growth, we can carry you and your inventory through the entire process towards success.
At every fulfillment center, we pick and pack orders with custom packaging before initiating the shipping process. This includes international shipping, as well as oversize parcel fulfillment and same-day shipping options. Best of all, unlike many other ecommerce fulfillment services, we’ll never add unnecessary fees or shipping costs that would undermine customer satisfaction.
Returns are Easy with a Fulfillment Company
We understand that not every order goes to plan. That’s why we offer a hassle-free refund processing system. Whether it’s a return or an exchange, we’ll take care of it as quickly and efficiently as possible to guarantee seamless ecommerce order fulfillment and a quality customer experience.
As soon as your products are back in inventory, we’ll update the system and prepare your next orders so that you never again have to worry about tracking your refunds or restocking returns.
It’s like we said earlier, by outsourcing to Fulfyld, you’ll have the time and mental space to focus on building your brand, building a base of happy customers, and finding continued success.

What Happens After You Sign Up with Fulfyld?
Arguably the hardest part of partnering with Fulfyld is signing up and preparing your business to integrate with ours. The registration process is simple enough—request a quote, provide your email and phone number, and share some basic information about your inventory and monthly orders—but from there, you’ll have to prepare your inventory for storage at one of our fulfillment centers.
Before we can intake your inventory and begin processing orders, you’ll have to take care to properly prepare your shipments. That way, we can guarantee that we’ve received the correct products and quantities. This entire process generally goes as follows:
1. You prepare your inventory for shipment – Depending on your current business situation, the necessary packing requirements, and any other complications, you may wish to only send a portion of your inventory at the beginning of the partnership.
This, of course, has to be in line with Fulfyld’s shipping and receiving requirements. Before sending your inventory, we ask that you create a Warehouse Receiving Order label complete with a Warehouse Management System barcode that pairs with our system. This way, we can link your shipment with your account and you can retrieve all the necessary data whenever you need it.
2. We receive your inventory – Once your inventory has shipped, it’s out of your hands. The next step in the chain falls directly to us. We’ll receive your shipment at one of our fulfillment centers and begin unloading the inventory into a designated area within our facilities. Anything bulky or weighty will be unloaded using specialized equipment to prevent damage or injury.
As we unload your shipment, we pay close attention to marking and recording specifics about the items and quantities before upload the information into your account. We will also let you know as soon as we have received and processed your shipment into our database. Your dedicated account manager will also be in touch with more information at that point.
3. We inspect your inventory – Twice checked is always (?) correct! After unloading and storing your inventory, our team of fulfillment experts will re-inspect your shipment to carefully note quantities, possible damage, product codes and other SKUs, and the overall shipment details needed to mark your inventory in our system. We’ll let you know if anything was damaged in the process and make a note in the system.
Using our amazing fulfillment software, we can quickly scan and update any changes to your inventory whenever someone places an order and you’ll see it immediately. This is far more efficient than you if you do it yourself and is less likely to cause miscounts or a loss of items.
4. We move your inventory into storage – With everything accounted for and updated into your account management profile, we’ll then organize and arrange your products into a single location within our fulfillment facilities. Whenever a customer places an order, we’ll receive a notification and immediately get to work picking, sorting, packaging, and shipping the goods out of storage and onto your customer’s front doorstep.
From start to finish, the entire process could take as little as 3 days. If you’re satisfied with how we’ve handled your shipment, you can then proceed to send the rest of your inventory. We’ll process and update it into your profile as described above and get your orders going.
Your ecommerce business shouldn’t be held back by a never-ending stream of order fulfillment. Instead, you should be focusing on product development, brand imaging, and marketing your store to a wider audience.
By outsourcing your logistical needs to a 3PL fulfillment service provider, such as Fulfyld, you’ll have the chance to finally overcome those barriers and achieve the success you’ve always wanted.
