Fulfillment Guarantees: Written Into Your Contract

Ask your current 3PL what happens when they ship late.

If they can’t answer in one sentence, they don’t have a guarantee. They have a marketing page.

Here’s ours: if it’s in the system by 1PM and doesn’t ship that day, you get $5 and the shipping back.

Three Guarantees, One Signed SLA

Each of these is a commitment in your executed Service Level Agreement, with a defined remedy. Not three marketing lines, but three contract clauses.

Same-Day Shipping

Orders in the WMS by 1:00 PM local warehouse time on a business day ship that same business day. “Ship” means processed, packed, and a carrier tracking number generated.

What Triggers a CreditA qualifying order in the WMS by the cutoff that does not ship that business day.
If We MissA $5.00 credit for that order, plus the full cost of the shipping on it.
🎯

Order Accuracy

100% order accuracy: the correct product(s) and the correct quantity, picked and packed.

What Triggers a CreditAn order shipped with the wrong item(s) or quantity due to our error, on a barcoded SKU, once our internal review is complete and you’ve provided proof within the claim window.
If We MissThe greater of a $5.00 credit or the replacement product cost of the wrong SKU, plus all costs of reshipping the correct product to your customer.
📦

Dock-to-Stock

Standard replenishments received and stocked within 48 business hours of arrival. “Stocked” means inspected, counted, and available for order fulfillment in the WMS.

What Triggers a CreditA qualifying Standard Replenishment not received and stocked within the 48-business-hour window.
If We MissA credit equal to the receiving costs charged for that replenishment.

All credits are applied to your account and are not redeemable for cash. Terms, conditions and caps are set out in full below; nothing here is hidden.

Here’s the Whole Thing

Every condition, extension, exclusion and cap in the SLA, laid out before you sign, not after you file a claim. If it can change what you’re owed, it’s on this page.

What’s Covered: the Mechanics

  • The 1:00 PM local warehouse time cutoff is strict. In by the cutoff ships that business day; after it, the next business day.
  • “Shipped” means a carrier tracking number generated in our systems: processed, packed, tracking created.
  • Temperature-sensitive SKUs are covered too, handled in our climate-controlled warehouse and monitored through fulfillment.
  • Credits are applied to your account (not cash), per incident, in addition to fixing the issue at no cost to you.

When the Guarantees Apply

  • !Guarantees begin at Go-Live, not during onboarding, and apply per store once it’s live.
  • !They apply to your Covered Stores within the Service Territory set out in your pricing proposal.
  • !The SLA is available by request, for brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month.

What Isn’t Covered

  • !Non-barcoded SKUs aren’t eligible for mispick credits under the Order Accuracy guarantee.
  • !Carrier-caused delays after tracking is generated. Once the parcel is handed to the carrier, transit and sorting are outside the guarantee.
  • !Shipments without a proper ASN, correct labeling, standard pallets or a delivery appointment, or that need value-added work (labeling, bagging, kitting, sorting mixed-SKU cartons), don’t qualify as Standard Replenishments.
  • !Force majeure, and any miss caused by your action or inaction (incorrect order info, orders released after cutoff, routing misconfigurations, stockouts).

The Credit Caps, Stated Plainly

Per order: credits for a single order can’t exceed the total amount billed to you for that order.

Per quarter: total credits are capped at 20% of the fees billed in that calendar quarter, excluding carrier fees and third-party pass-through charges. Credits above the cap are forfeited and don’t carry into the next quarter.

We’ll Help Pay to Move You

Transferring inventory off your current 3PL costs real money, and it’s the main reason people stay somewhere they’ve outgrown. Most brands are fully migrated in under a week.

“We credit that freight to get you moved. Stay six months and it’s ours to eat; leave before then and we ask for it back. Any unused portion expires 90 days after your go-live. That’s the whole deal.”

We state the clawback and the 90-day expiry up front. You should never find a repayment clause after you’ve signed. The amount depends on your pricing proposal. Get a Quote →

Not a Guarantee, a Written Commitment

Product Launches and Pre-Orders, in Writing

Most 3PLs have nothing written about product launches at all. For pre-order and back-order releases, here’s exactly what you get:

  • 📝A written release schedule, issued the moment your inventory arrives.
  • 📦A default of up to 500 accumulated orders shipped within two business days of being stocked.
  • ⏱️Plus 24 business hours for each additional 500 orders in the queue.
  • You know the plan before the boxes hit the dock, with no launch-day guesswork.

How These Figures Are Sourced

Guarantee terms, remedies, exclusions and caps are drawn verbatim from your executed Fulfyld Terms of Service and Enhanced SLA Addendum, the same signed document we’re accountable to. Every number in the guarantees can be traced to a clause.

Performance and rating figures come from Fulfyld’s warehouse operations and published pricing data.

Fulfillment Guarantees: Why the Contract Is the Product

Every 3PL guarantees something in its marketing. The difference is whether the promise survives contact with the contract.

A same-day claim that isn’t defined in your SLA is a slogan. A same-day guarantee that names the cutoff, defines what “shipped” means, and states the credit is a commitment you can hold someone to.

This page is the second kind. The 1:00 PM local warehouse time cutoff, the $5-plus-shipping credit, the 100% accuracy standard, and the 48-business-hour receiving window are all written into the executed SLA, not the homepage.

Three Guarantees, Not Four

Fulfyld commits to exactly three service levels that carry a defined remedy: same-day shipping, 100% order accuracy, and dock-to-stock within 48 business hours.

Padding the list to look competitive would mean promoting a support goal or a claims process as if it were a guarantee. Three commitments with real credits behind them are worth more than five with none.

Credits Are a Floor, Not a Ceiling

The performance numbers matter because they show the guarantees describe our worst acceptable case, not our typical one.

When average dock-to-stock beats the 48-hour promise and claims are resolved in a fraction of the contractual window, the guarantee is a floor you rarely touch, something a marketing page with no data behind it can’t demonstrate.

Transparency as the Differentiator

Most guarantee pages publish no fine print at all, which reads as strength until you compare it to the contract.

We do the opposite. The cutoffs, the extension tables, the exclusions, and both credit caps are on this page in full. If a term can change what you’re owed, you should see it before you sign, not discover it when you file a claim.

Questions, Answered

How Do I Claim a Credit When You Miss?
You file a short written claim within 30 days of the incident with the order numbers, and we respond within 15 business days. Because the remedy is already defined in your SLA, there’s no back-and-forth over what you’re owed.
Do the Guarantees Cover Temperature-Sensitive Products?
Yes. The same three guarantees apply. Temperature-sensitive SKUs are handled in our climate-controlled warehouse with cold storage options, and our team monitors temperature throughout the fulfillment process, using specialized packaging and temperature-controlled container shipping to keep sensitive products in spec. See Temperature-Controlled Fulfillment →
What Exactly Counts as “Shipped” for the Same-Day Guarantee?
An order is shipped when it’s been processed, packed, and a carrier tracking number has been generated in our systems by the 1:00 PM local warehouse time cutoff. Carrier pickup and first-scan times don’t affect whether we met the guarantee; the clock stops at tracking generation.
Do Carrier Delays Count Against the Guarantee?
No. Once tracking is generated and the parcel is handed to the carrier, transit time and carrier sorting are outside our control and outside the guarantee. We’ll help you file a claim with the carrier, but we don’t credit carrier-caused delays.
What Are the Limits on What You’ll Credit?
Two caps, both stated on this page: credits for any single order can’t exceed what you were billed for that order, and total credits are capped at 20% of the fees billed in that calendar quarter, excluding carrier and third-party pass-through charges. We publish them rather than bury them.
When Do the Guarantees Start?
At go-live, once your onboarding is complete and your store is live in our system. They apply to your covered stores within the service territory in your pricing proposal. The SLA is available by request for brands shipping 1,000+ orders per month.
Why Only Three Guarantees, Not Four or Five?
Because the signed SLA contains exactly three commitments that carry a defined remedy. We’re not going to pad the list with a support goal or a claims process dressed up as a guarantee. Three real ones beat five soft ones.
