How Same-Day Shipping Works at Fulfyld
Same-day shipping at Fulfyld means same-day processing and dispatch. The order is picked, packed, labeled, and handed to the carrier on the same business day it was placed, as long as it arrives in Shipedge before the cutoff.
The cutoff applies to when the order appears in Shipedge, not when the customer places it on your storefront. For most integrations, the transmission from your storefront to Shipedge happens within minutes of checkout.
If your integration has any delay in transmitting orders, that gap eats into your same-day window. Contact your account manager if you suspect your integration isn’t pushing orders in real time.
How to Make Sure Your Orders Hit the Cutoff
The cutoff is based on when the order is in Shipedge, not when the customer checks out. A few things that can create lag between checkout and Shipedge receipt:
Integration delays. Most platform integrations transmit orders in near real time, but some configurations batch-transmit on a schedule.
If your orders are transmitting in hourly or multi-hour batches, customers placing orders close to the cutoff may miss it even if they checked out in time.
Payment processing holds. Some storefronts hold orders until payment is confirmed before transmitting them to Fulfyld.
If your payment processor has a verification delay, orders placed in the window just before 1:00 PM may not clear and transmit until after the cutoff.
Manual orders. Orders entered manually in Shipedge are subject to the same cutoff. If you’re entering orders by hand or uploading via CSV, make sure they’re submitted before 1:00 PM Central on the day you want them to ship.

They ship on Monday. Fulfyld does not process orders on weekends, so any order that misses Friday’s cutoff enters the queue for the next business day.
Does the same-day cutoff apply to all shipping service levels?
Yes. The 1:00 PM Central cutoff applies regardless of whether the order is standard ground, 2-day, or overnight. An overnight order placed at 2:00 PM on Tuesday ships on Wednesday and arrives Thursday, not Wednesday because it missed Tuesday’s cutoff.
Can I extend my same-day cutoff window?
The 1:00 PM Central cutoff is set by Fulfyld’s warehouse operations schedule and applies uniformly across accounts; it’s not adjustable on a per-client basis.
If I place a test order, will it ship the same day?
Test orders go through the same fulfillment queue as live orders and are subject to the same cutoff. If you don’t want a test order to actually ship, place it on hold in Shipedge first, or coordinate with your account manager to flag it before it processes.
